My favorite holiday tradition is going to y grandmothers on Christmas Eve. That side of the family is Italian from my grandpa. Unfortunately he passed away so to commemorate him we do a traditional 7 fish, 7 course meal. I can barely walk after because I eat so much! 🙂 it’s something I always look forward too

My favorite holiday tradition is that my whole family gets together and we cook almost all day on Christmas Eve. We wait till midnight and then start opening presents (my favorite part of the holidays haha). Then on Christmas Day we just eat and watch holiday movies, especially elf, which is my favorite Christmas movie.

Every December 25th my family hits the slopes to ski the day away having the entire mountain practically to ourselves every year. Then we come home and make a ridiculous amount of hot coco, put on some warm festive pajamas, and open presents by the fire. Definitely the one of the best days of the year!

My favorite holiday tradition is our Christmas Eve Dinner – as long as I can remember we always eat pastries. They are called Ragout Fin or Queen’s pastries, and when I was younger I hated them. But nowadays, I could eat them all year long – but they are reserved for Christmas Eve and it’s another thing to look forward to for 365 days, starting 25th December… ☺️🙄🎄🎅🏼

We’ve always opened gifts after coming home post-Christmas service at the church we’re a part of. First, we celebrate the reason for the season, then we enjoy the gifts we’re privileged to open. So many don’t have anything at all, so it’s a day full of gratitude, reflecting, and community love.

Christmas Baking and Harry Potter Marathon!

For as long as I can remember, baking has been one of the biggest traditions our family upholds during Christmas and one of my favorite holiday traditions. Making Christmas cookies was one of my best activities because of how much detail I put into them, especially with the frosting! We may have never had enough because my sister and I ate most of it while making them 😂

Usually around Christmas is the perfect time to watch Harry Potter. I have no idea why but I absolutely love the movies and enjoy watching them with my family and loved ones.

My favorite holiday tradition is just indulging in the Christmas spirit by decorating the house in beautiful colors of red, silver and green; getting to spend some quality time with my loved ones over some real good dinner; accessorizing the Christmas tree; buying each other wonderful little gifts (definitely my favorite part), and getting to see the joy on everyone’s faces Christmas morning! I also think you’re gorgeous and I absolutely adore your regular instagram posts (they’re literally my daily dose of aesthetic serving- I’m in love with your theme) and this lovely blog of yours. Keep doing you and hope you’re having a great holiday season! 🙂

Love your blog Julia, and stole a couple of looks! Unfortunately this year Gatlinburg suffered from wildfires, but my favorite holiday tradition is to visit the Smoky Mountains on Christmas with my family. We stay in a cabin and play music and board games (now that we’re older there’s a little moonshine involved) and really disconnect with our everydays. Everyone there is so sweet and the town goes all out for Christmas and creates a magical environment, definitely a place to visit if you’ve never been!

Every christmas my family and I decorate our christmas tree to the cheesiest holiday music we know. We’ve made a music video every single year to the same dance moves, and our dad being the lead singer. Its crazy to look back at all memories and see how so much has changed in the past twenty+ years we’ve all been doing it!

My favorite holiday tradition is definitely getting together with my Venezuelan family and making hallacas. I was born and raised in Venezuela so every December we would get together in grandma’s house and EVERYONE (including my 7 y/o cousins) would help in the process of making this traditional dish. Nowadays I live in Miami and this something I miss like crazy..

My favorite holiday tradition is going to the tree farm and chopping down our own tree. I always try to cut it myself but usually dad has to take over! While decorating we pull out the record player and the Christmas vinyl to decorate and sing to. Seeing all the ornaments that have been used over the years is the best. We still use some from when I was a little kid, it’s the sweetest feeling going home from college and spending quality time doing this every year.

Julia I actually adore your Instagram and blog and have been following you for a long time since we’re around the same age. It’s just Been fascinating to watch your career grow the way it has. My Christmas tradition is more a Christmas Eve tradition. My family will go to my aunts every Christmas Eve for a big family dinner and we will all do a Christmas puzzle together and just spend time with everyone till late. But before it hits 12am for chirstmas we make it home so once it hits chirstmas we all open our presents together and watch chirstmas movies until chirstmas morning. That’s how we have spent Christmas since I was a child and it’s just carried on to being our own little tradition.

Christmas Markets! After studying abroad in Germany and seeing the amazing Christmas markets and holiday spirit, I decided to recreate this for everyone to experience back at my university in the US. Since then, even after graduating, I go back every December to keep this a tradition for the younger students to come and be involved in.

First off I want to say that I’ve been following you for a while now, and it’s really inspiring how much work you put into your Instagram and blog posts. You’re neutral aesthetic and style really resembles mine xx

My favourite and most memorable Christmas tradition would probably be going to the local supermarket and buying delicious holiday foods and dropping them off at food banks across the city. It’s amazing how such a small gesture can really influence the holiday season for even one family. As my brother and I have gotten older, we’ve really started to take initiative at carrying the tradition forward xx
