My NYC Apartment

A first look inside of my NYC apartment, with decor from Anthropologie, West Elm, and Gray Malin

My NYC Apartment

After 3 months of waiting, my amazing blue velvet bed from Anthropologie was finally delivered!  It is quite larger than I anticipated but I love the way it brings my entire apartment together. I can finally lay in bed and watch TV and look out my window without feeling like I am low to the ground. My Casper mattress makes falling a sleep effortless and getting out of bed the ultimate struggle. It is so comfortable and the memory foam technology makes every night of sleep a good one.

One of my favorite parts of my studio apartment is the gorgeous art piece from Gray Malin. I have been a huge fan of Gray Malin’s work for as long as I remember and being able to own one in my own home is something I can appreciate everyday. I wake up to the bright and colorful capture of Cinque Terre and instantly feel joy because of my love for beaches and travel. My dresser is from West Elm and it is absolutely perfect. The retro style is gorgeous and so me. I also am in love with my Marshall Speaker which has bluetooth and plays extremely loud. I accessorized with fashion books and a mirrored tray for my favorite perfumes which give it a more homey touch.

My closet is fortunately a walk-in and it is larger than my closet at my family home in LA so I love everything about it so much! It did not come with built-ins, so I had to figure out a way to maximize storage for both shoes and clothing. I bought an extension rack from Amazon for my pants and shoe boxes from the Container Store which were inexpensive and stackable.

My kitchen is small, yet all that I need. I love the minimal table and chairs I bought from West Elm. I think they match the aesthetic of my apartment as a whole and add modern touch that I really like.

I can confidently say that my Gray Malin piece ties my entire apartment together and brings a colorful element to my stark white studio apartment. I’m so grateful I was able to receive this photo as a gift from him and I really do treasure it everyday. He is currently promoting free framing and free shipping this week only, so head over to GrayMalin.com today to get one of his stunning captures for your home too!
