I just got back from spending a weekend in San Francisco and wanted to share my experience with you all! Thanks to JetSuite, I was able to fly on a luxurious private plane to Concord, California (just 40 minutes away from San Francisco). It was amazing, no waiting in lines, no airport security, and you can arrive at the terminal just 30 minutes before departure! The plane I was on seats 30 people but it was only half full so it really felt like a private flight! Another plus is that their prices aren’t much different from those of commercial airlines!

Although it was raining 60% of the time I was there, I had a great time exploring and eating my way through the city! I stayed at the Parc55 hotel which is right next to Union Square and walking distance from the main cable car stop. My bed was so comfortable and the view was amazing! The staff was also very accommodating and they would text me to check in and see if I needed anything. Definitely would recommend staying here because the rates are also very affordable! What to do: These tourist attractions are definitely a must!
Alamo Square: Famous for the “Painted Ladies,” colorful victorian houses that have been featured in various photos, movies, and television shows. Also, a beautiful park with an great view of the city!
Lombard Street: The most “San Francisco-esque” street you will ever see! From the bottom it looks like switchbacks on a steep mountain and from the top there is an amazing view of the city, the old lighthouse, and the Pacific Ocean.
Golden Gate Bridge Fort Point: Fort Point is a former military base which is now a popular tourist destination for a breathtaking view of the Golden Gate Bridge and definitely a must see!
Where I ate:
The Mill: I went here for breakfast Saturday morning and got an almond milk latte and their fresh baked country bread with almond butter and jam! Such a cute place and walking distance from Alamo Square!
Farmerbrown: Soul food! The breakfast was amazing and their biscuits are a must! Prices are reasonable.
Super Duper Burgers: SF locals know this place, there are a couple of locations in the downtown area and they are tasty as ever! Quick, inexpensive, and good burgers and fries!
Mr. Holmes Bakehouse: This place is known for their neon sign and incredible freshly baked pastries! Unfortunately, if you do not get there around the time they open, most of the good stuff will already be gone. I went at 1:30PM on a Saturday (they close at 2:30) and only the savory bread pudding and strawberry-jalapeño bear claw were left. I usually wouldn’t get a bear claw, but since the savory bread pudding wasn’t really calling my name, I got the bear claw and it was magical! Next time I’ll be sure to go when they first open and try some other yummy treats!
Flour + Water: Italian and perfect for a date night! We waited over an hour to get in so be sure to make a reservation! The stuffed pasta was amazing and so was the poached pear dessert with brown butter gelato!
Cotogna: I’m not sure why, but after eating at Flour + Water, I wanted Italian food again the next night for dinner! After looking on Instagram and Yelp. We started off with amberjack crudo and pizza. I wanted to try this place because of how amazing their pastas looked! I have this thing for bolognese and then for peas in a pasta dish. That being said, I ordered both! The apple torta for dessert was also unbelievable!
Last but not least, I got a lot of comments on my Instagram asking about what I was wearing and where I got my clothing from! Here are the outfits I wore with photos of each item individually underneath. If you click on a photo of a specific item, it will take you to directly to a page where you can purchase the item! 🙂 Unfortunately, not everything is online yet, but check back soon! I will update this when new items become available online! Photos by @lissshhhaaa
